Beckor was the village priest of Sweetwater in Karse for many years. He also served as village healer. He was the priest who treated Torgon when Sosha first brought the injured man to him.
During his time in Sweetwater, a number of village priests apprenticed under him, including Jaskhi and Reulan, Torgon and Sosha's son. After his ordination, Reulan returned to Sweetwater to serve as Beckor's assistant, eventually taking over after Beckor died.
