Before and after Mercedes Lackey published The Oathbound, she wrote multiple stories about Tarma and Kethry which appeared in various publications.
Additionally, a handful of other Valdemar stories have been published by other editors outside of Lackey's own Valdemar/Velgarth books and anthologies.
