Diseases without articles:

• Boil-plague (Owlsight ch 14) - "I hope it spreads by fleas, the way Boil-Plague does." [RL plague?]
• Mountain sickness (Owlknight ch 13) - this term is used in real life! per the CDC:

"Altitude illness is divided into 3 syndromes: acute mountain sickness (AMS), high-altitude cerebral edema (HACE), and high-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE). • Hammer Lung (Owlknight ch 14 or 15) - "lived in the lungs, scarring them and turning them from a healthy honeycomb to a useless solid mass." "It thrived because it walled itself off from those [the body's] forces with scar tissue; she could break that wall down." [tb?]
• Ostrum's sickness (Wil and Lelia Miniseries - Lelia has increasing amounts of pain and fatigue. Discord pointed out this is a nervous system illness, which makes sense as they aren't treating it with poppy. Also we noted that Ostrum died within five years (2000 songs?), but Lelia was diagnosed in 1385 and lived at least 15 years. Presumably earlier detection and better palliatives. The Healers can slow and alleviate symptoms but not stop it. Ostrum's does not equate to a specific real-life disease. It has similarities to ALS with some symptoms of migraine thrown in.
