Cerilka is the Companion of expert weather reader Herald Selte. Rendered mute by her neighbors, bent on vengeance, Selte prefers nonverbal forms of communication. Cerilka respects this, communicating primarily through touch and non-specific sounds. She reserves Mindspeech only for emergency situations, allowing her Herald plenty of time to listen for the signs of shifts in the weather.
