Lord Breon is the local landholder charged with protecting the area in northwest Valdemar that includes Errold's Grove. He has a wife, Isabel, and a grown son and heir, Valyn. His manor, Kelmskeep is downriver from the village.
When alerted to the occupation of Errold's Grove, Lord Breon responded at once. He was just in time to take on the demoralized Blood Bear Clan warriors on their way out of the area. He did not leave many survivors to carry news of their defeat home. He also purchased the warhorses the barbarians had left behind, helping to put Errold's Grove back on its feet, and more prosperous than before the invasion.
Lord Breon is described as "a neat and handsome gentleman of middling age and height... brown of hair and eyes and beard."[1]
