Fyllis was the Queen of Valdemar and wife of King Theran during the time of Lavan Firestorm.
She is the third daughter of the Duke of Brendan; the dukedom is located on Valdemar's far southeastern border.
Fyllis and Theran were both Chosen as Heralds while he was still the heir. It was a love match as well as being a very good political marriage.
Fyllis suffers nausea in the early months of her pregnancies, but due to her Gift of Empathy she sometimes accidentally projects her nausea on others. She avoids Court meals while she is pregnant. Otherwise, she is very joyful and healthy during her pregnancies.
