The Ice Wall Mountains provide a natural barrier across the northern border of both Valdemar and Iftel, separating the nations from the wilderness territory of the Northern tribes.
Along the Valdemaran border, the mountain terrain is particularly rugged. The only pass through the area is Crook Back Pass, which Leareth used for his invasion.[1]
