Satiran is the Companion of Herald Pol. He often teases his Chosen for liking his creature comforts and is happiest when the pair are in the field. He shares Pol’s feelings towards sending young Heralds to war and having family on the Valdemar-Karse border as he has lost children (bonded Companions) to Karsite attacks.
Satiran is the first to realize that Lan and Kalira are lifebonded. Due to his strong bond with Pol, Satiran is able to share his sense of sight with his Chosen when Pol is blinded.
