Steelmind is a Tayledras herbalist who is in a relationship with Herald Shandi.
Much to everyone's surprise, he chose to accompany Darian on his quest to find his parents. Steelmind's talents with plants were very useful in helping to keep the party fed.
Later, when Shandi was in danger from Blood Bear warriors, he came to her defense, fending them off with his climbing staff. Unfortunately, he was overwhelmed and mortally injured. Keisha reached him in time, and using energy supplied by Karles, Healed him. Steelmind and Shandi finally declared their love for each other there on the battlefield.
Bondbird[]
Steelmind's bondbird is a buzzard named Hakan.
Naming[]
His name was given to him by an older Tayledras who admired his ability to gather information and keep it all in his head.
The Herbalist[]
Steelmind traded plants, herbs, and seeds at the Errold's Grove market. He also traded herbal remedies to Keisha from his Vale's healer.
