Sunstone k'Vala is a Tayledras scout, a member of Snowfire and Starfall's expedition. He flies a falcon bondbird.
When the expedition ambushed the warriors of Blood Bear Clan, it was Sunstone's job to kick things off by triggering the carefully rigged avalanche. Everything depended on the timing being perfect, and it was.
